The latest Job Index survey by Bayt.com, the Middle East’s #1 job site, and market research agency, YouGov, indicates that over 6 in 10 (62%) of Jordan employers are planning to hire new employees in 2023. Interestingly, most Jordan employers demand good communication skills in Arabic and English (73%) when hiring candidates, followed by teamwork skills (43%) and overall personality (43%).

According to the new Freelancing in the MENA Poll 2023 conducted by Bayt.com, the Middle East’s #1 job site, a large number of MENA professionals (89%) plan to do more freelance work in 2023. The biggest motivations for taking up freelance work include earning extra income (45%), exploring more career opportunities (25%), learning new skills (21%) and practicing what they like (10%).
