Job Description


Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Filling Team leader to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that Filling Operators request the packaging materials according to the production plan, considering the availability of packaging materials in the buffer store.
  • Manage the daily production plan according to production program (sequence, date, and time).
  • Ensure CUTE is updated timely with the accurate data captured by Filling Operators

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in operational excellence program by implementing ideas to achieve world-class manufacturing through productivity, people engagement, working environment, Growth and Quality ideas.
  • Lead on deep cleaning activities, and weekly preventive maintenance.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’ to improve business processes, cost efficiency and productivity.


Safety, Quality and Environment:

  • Report near-miss, and safety risks promptly.
  • Ensure LOTO application during the troubleshooting and plant activities for routine and non-routine tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, Personal hygiene, Housekeeping, Equipment cleaning, Floor cleaning, Zoning, 5S are respected and maintained in daily basis.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Verify and crosscheck the quality checks done by Filling Operators as mentioned in the SIM for all the fillers across the plant.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and ensure the GMP, personal hygiene, housekeeping, machines cleaning, and 5S are respected and maintained by all the team in daily basis.
  • Ensure that all CCPs are adequately documented and monitored to ensure food safety corrective and preventive actions are implemented on time without undue delay.
  • Update the SIM (Short Interval Management), as well as the production respective operators with latest version update reports, and quality documents promptly. 
  • Implement corrective measure in case of non-adherence to prevent substandard products from leaving the factory.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality in the floor.

 

Cost, Delivery and Moral:

  • Verify that the printed date and production codes on product are 100% complying with production program.
  • Ensure that the filling operations is done with optimal efficiency, LIP (loss in filling operation) and other overhead expense e. g overtime, requesting stationary items, consumptions of items …etc. according to ASD Quality standards.
  • Ensure re-cycling activities are conducted following all safety and quality requirements.
  • Ensure that the reservation received from material warehouse is scanned on time after proper verification.
  • Monitor any trials and innovations taking place in their respective shifts and give proper feedback.
  • Maximize service to internal customers by delivering the right product at right time, and in right specification.
  • Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates, ensuring their continuous development.
  • Ensure competency assessment is conducted for the team according to the plan. 
  • Support the business by leading and training the team on carrying out autonomous maintenance for filler machines / downstream lines.
  • Timely communication with the team regarding their shift schedule to manage machine operations with required manpower.
  • Ensure all personnel are abiding by company Danone HR policies & values in terms of performance, commitment, behaviour, & relationship with others.
  • Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately, meeting the company and department’s requirements, standards, policies and procedures.

 

 Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in food, or Engineering, with a minimum 3 years’ experience at the supervisory level.
  • Or Dairy Food Technology Diploma / Technical Diploma, with a minimum 5 years’ experience at the supervisory level.
  • 3-5 years’ experience at the supervisory level.
  • Excellent English in reading, writing, and speaking skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure. 
  • Safety and Quality consciousness.
  • FMCG / Food and Beverages
