Job Description
AL RAYDA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Principal to lead our dynamic and diverse educational institution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in international schools and a strong understanding of the British education system, preferably with experience in the Pearson curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the school's vision, mission, and objectives are effectively implemented.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Manage and support the professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Ensure the effective delivery of the British curriculum, with a focus on the Pearson framework, to maintain high academic standards and student achievement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, the local community, and relevant educational authorities to promote the school's reputation and values.
- Manage the school's financial resources effectively, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting, to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
- Stay abreast of developments in international education and implement innovative practices to enhance the school's educational offerings.
Skills
- Master's degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an international school setting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Principal, Vice-Principal, or Head of School).
- Thorough understanding of the British education system and experience working with the Pearson curriculum.
- Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
