Fabrication, welding, P&ID

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional for a Fabrication, Welding, and P&ID position in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong knowledge of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). The candidate should have a thorough understanding of various welding techniques and be able to interpret and analyze P&ID drawings. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform fabrication and welding tasks as per project requirements, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
2. Interpret and analyze P&ID drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
3. Select appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials based on project specifications and requirements.
4. Prepare and set up welding equipment and ensure proper maintenance and calibration.
5. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
6. Identify and troubleshoot welding defects or issues and implement corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all fabrication and welding activities.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of P&ID drawings and their interpretation.
3. Proficient in various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and ARC welding.
4. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
