Position Summary
Air Products, along with its joint venture partners are developing a world-scale green hydrogen production facility powered by renewable electricity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to produce Green Hydrogen. As the Project Reporting Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly project status reports.
- Ensuring construction teams provide progress data in a timely manner.
- Provide and demonstrate a positive commitment to right first-time reporting.
- Participate in weekly project reviews meetings.
- Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders. Assist project team in development of action plans to avoid cost & schedule overruns.
- Working closely with the project team, client, sub-consultants, and main contractors
Skills
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- General Experience: Sound knowledge, proven skills, and competencies in application of change management, project cost control principles, methodologies, and tools, supporting all phases of project execution, especially around Change Management, Project Cost Control, Forecasting and Reporting, within a large project-oriented EPC or Owner Organization. Must be able to deliver accurate cost information, reporting and guidance to management.
- Project Controls Experience: Proven skills and experience of change management, cost control for projects on global basis. Understanding of a variety of project types, structures, and contract terms. This includes EPC, third party Sale of Equipment (SOE), joint ventures, capital, and cost sharing type arrangements.
- Flexibility: Travel internationally to other regional engineering and project sites.
- Core competencies: Commercial and technical acumen, working knowledge of change management, project cost, planning tools and systems. Working knowledge of project management, business development and finance. Must have a proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
As a Project Reporting Coordinator, you will have:
- Education – bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum of 4+ years of work experience in Project Execution / Project Controls
- Ability to work within an established team to achieve targets and goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note)
- Working knowledge of SAP, Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen is desirable
- Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must.
