Electrical Project Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with excellent technical skills and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
2. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
4. Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
5. Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and regulations.
6. Oversee the procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
7. Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical engineering teams and subcontractors.
8. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards.
9. Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project.
10. Prepare progress reports and present project updates to clients and senior management.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
4. Proficient in using design and project management software.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all aspects of work.
10. Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations in Kuwait is preferred.
