Job Description


BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

To perform specialized and/or standardized policy and programme-related processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized project support to ensure that the various nutrition activities are performed to meet the established targets and follow WFP policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Liaise with the implementing partners to collect the monthly distribution reports as well as other related nutrition reports on time.
  • Review, verify, validate, and clean data to ensure accurate reporting and consistency across CPDR, CMAM, and BSFP databases.
  • Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress analyses for all CP programs, identifying and addressing any gaps.
  • Ensure regular update and maintain HFs tracking tools and update the TSFPs status and BSFP functionality and update the nutrition unit on monthly basis.
  • Provide technical support to the cooperating partners including the GHOs and assist in the development and implementation of nutrition activities and monitoring processes as per approved project documents.
  • Contribute to innovative data presentation products (bulletins, nutrition briefs and dashboards).
  • Maintain a comprehensive archiving system for both digital and physical nutrition documents.
  • Facilitate efficient and effective information flow between the Area office and the Country Office level.
