Key Accountabilities
- Carry out M.P.I and D.P.T as and when required.
- Perform laser alignment on machineries.
- Prepare and submit work completion report.
- Identify mechanical work from Owner’s specifications, tenders and work lists.
- Describe all mechanical work onboard and workshop.
- Preparation of mechanical drawings and work processes.
- Produce job estimate and progress sheet.
- Prepare man-hours estimation for work processes.
- Update and monitor man hour consumption on projects.
- Raise materials requisitions.
- Arrange calibration of machinery and equipment.
- Liaison with Owner representative, SRM, Invoicer, other trades and other sections of mechanical dept.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Qualification / Experience & Skills
- Diploma in Engineering
- 5-6 years’ relevant experience in Marine, oil & gas and offshore industry
- Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation

It also boasts an in-house-built floating crane, which can lift 2,000 metric tonnes, including the weight of lifting gear for all types of heavy lift operations.
Innovative projects have been constructed in Drydocks World, breaking records for some of the largest new build offshore fabrication projects worldwide.
