We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our fabrication team for the construction of Mobile Surveillance Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, metal fabrication, and vehicle modification, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with various metals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform welding and fabrication tasks for the construction and modification of surveillance vehicles.
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
•Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and Stick welding) and metalworking tools.
•Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project specifications.
•Ensure structural integrity and quality of welds for vehicle frames and compartments.
•Collaborate with engineering and electrical teams to integrate surveillance equipment securely.
•Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
•Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and painting when necessary.
•Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
•Follow all health and safety regulations during fabrication processes.
•Proven experience as a welder, preferably in automotive or specialized vehicle fabrication.
•Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
•Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
•Skilled in using hand and power tools related to metal fabrication.
•Experience in modifying vehicle structures is highly desirable.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Understanding of safety procedures and protocols in welding and fabrication.
•Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory).
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Familiarity with automotive electrical systems is a plus.
