Job Description

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods
  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines
  • Taking charge of hiring, developing, and mentoring logistics and warehouse team, shaping a department that aligns with the company's strategic vision
  • Managing and monitoring inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing shortages, and preventing overstock situations
  • Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline the supply chain and improve logistics processes
  • Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate logistics performance, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Managing the logistics budget, focusing on cost control and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, health, and safety standards
  • Leveraging warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to automate processes and enhance productivity.
  • Meeting the standards of the free zone and coordination with free zone customs authorities for handling shipments (in and out)

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management. Automotive or car parts industry experience is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems/ warehouse management (WMS)
  • Proven ability to lead, and manage a team, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze logistics data to drive continuous improvements
  • Professional in English
