Manage and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize productivity and minimize operational costs.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts.
Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service, to address inventory issues, fulfill orders, and meet customer expectations.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and other technology tools, such as WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
