Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Position Summary:
We are working with a prominent Property Development company based in Dubai that specializes in the design & construction of landmark luxury residential, commercial, and leisure properties, with a reputation for creating iconic developments they have established themselves as a pioneer in the Middle Eastern Real Estate market. As part of their continued drive to set & maintain the highest standards in all business operations they are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Vice President - People and Performance to lead their corporate Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) and Learning & Development (L&D) teams. This pivotal role will drive the people and performance strategy across their global workforce, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate HRBP and L&D teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Manage Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver specialized HR services effectively.

  • Organizational Development:
    • Oversee grading and job leveling processes, working with external consultants to position the company competitively in the market.
    • Develop and implement a robust performance management system that drives employee performance and business results.

  • Employee Engagement and Retention:
    • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving workplace satisfaction and reducing attrition rates.
    • Analyze employee feedback and engagement data to inform strategies and actions.

  • Learning and Development:
    • Collaborate with the L&D team to identify and address the training needs of the organization, ensuring the development of skills and competencies required for future growth.
    • Support the creation and implementation of L&D programs that promote career development and succession planning.

  • Strategic HR Initiatives:
    • Partner with senior leadership to drive large-scale people and organizational transformations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Provide detailed, hands-on involvement in HR processes, ensuring thorough understanding and management at levels 2 and 3 of detail, beyond just departmental oversight.


Background & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing global HR functions and leading large-scale organizational transformations.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing performance management systems, employee engagement initiatives, and L&D programs.

  • Skills:
    • Strong business partnering acumen with the ability to work closely with executive leadership.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
