The function is located at the heart of Large Industries (LI)-World Business Line (WBL) (large industrial customers), within the Africa Middle East India (AMEI) Hub organization, supporting operational entities notably liaising with Commercial and Business Development teams, Operations and Project controlling, World Business Line market teams, Engineering and Construction, Market Intelligence… etc.
The entity is the AMEI Hub head office and is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Presentation of the team:
AMEI Large Industries team is a small, multicultural & delocalized team focusing on strategy topics (business analysis, energy, customer relationship, regulatory). The team members are spread across the AMEI perimeter.
You will report to the AMEI LI Vice President with the following key missions:
Strategic planning: support steering the mid and long term vision : contract referential, competitive watch, provide vision on basins evolution;
Roadmap for growth: contribute to identifying priorities for key battlegrounds, coordinate contributors towards definition of underlying growth strategy, priorities selection and coordinate alignment between stakeholders, including the Air Liquide Group;
Customer relationship: Coordinate key customer relationship strategy in connection with SAM/KAM and entity stakeholders, coordinate the discussion on customers networking and follow-up of networking plans;
Energy transition roadmap : support Hub energy management team to consolidate and further drive the decarbonization roadmap, including entity mapping and sharing of entities best practices

You will be part of a very collaborative environment at the heart of the AMEI business development team. Also you will gain a strong exposure by reporting directly to the Large Industries AMEI VP in charge of Growth Strategy, and connecting with the Business Development and Commercial population in the Hub and Group.


The main mission domains are:


  • Supporting the HUB Large Industries team (and WBL LI indirectly) in data-analytics and data consolidation, through reports and performance analyses, dashboards, presentations & tools. 


  • Promote the usage & deployment of Business Analysis, Commercial performance and Market intelligence tools, reports and indicators, within the management & business developers community in AMEI.


  • Work on ad-hoc studies and projects (ie Energy Transition and Blue/Green Hydrogen related)


  • Project pipeline management, through Selection Committee organization and capitalization

Candidate education:


  • Engineering background and/or


  • Business School background


Field of specialization: chemistry, energy, commercial, data analytics, etc


Hard and Soft Skills:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Eager to learn and deliver in a fast-paced and challenging environment


  • Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines


  • Team and network player


  • Good communication and organizational skills


  • Strong Google Suite and general ease of use for IT-related tools


Work experience:


Minimum 3 months of trainee experience or internship


Languages:


  • English - mandatory


  • Arabic, French - advantageous


Position based in Dubai, UAE for 12/18 months extendable to 24 months. A few travels across AMEI might be expected.
