The position is located in Dubaï, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) for 12 months (or more)
As a Business controller, you will have to provide support to Senior Business Controller in business partnering for our regional team To ensure accurate forecasting and closing of financial results of the zone, support business team with financial scenarios to make faster and better decisions.
The Business Controller Junior will be working on the following topics :
- Preparation of budget and monthly financial forecasts, analyze and report variances, collect risks and opportunities by supporting and challenging zone team
- Monthly closing activities, reporting and analysis
-Working with finance systems and reporting (SAP, Essbase, TTM, Power BI, Excel)
- Support and make recommendations to sales and marketing teams through business cases calculation for new product/country/customer launches, adjustments of commercial or logistic conditions, pricing and portfolio management (countries/product mix analysis and recommendations)
-Tracking of trade and marketing investments
-Business process improvement and simplification, participation in different projects (new systems and process implementation)
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards within zone
For this mission and linked to the context, the following qualities will be key:
- First experience in business controlling, topline controlling (around 2 to 3 years)
- Actions and result oriented: pragmatic, flexible, fast learner and entrepreneurial mind set
- Strong Organization skills: be able to prepare, present and follow-up plan, ability to anticipate
- Open-minded attitude, good listener, self-motivated
- Good communication & influencing skills
- Ability to easy adapt and leverage a truly international and multi-cultural environment to effectively engage people

Are you eligible for a V.I.E ?
V.I.E is a Business France device allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 12 to 24 months contract.
You must be aged 18 to 28.
You must have completed national service obligation.
You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
You must have never worked in the country in which you wish to do your VIE.
What are the contractual advantages of the V.I.E?
Business France handles everything for volunteer’s contract.
Business France handles the whole care insurance for volunteers (sickness; maternity invalidity; work accidents).
There are no taxes and charges on salary. There are no unemployment benefits and retirement contribution.
You will be granted with 2,5 days off per month.
