Job Description

Role Purpose


Develop, validate, deploy and manage drones UTM and countermeasures systems, with the ability to the development and use of threat scenarios, models, simulations and organize and facilitate the planning, execution and reporting of the system operations. To ensure the safety and efficiency of the systems.


Key Responsibilities/Duties


1.Develops and establishes procedures and guidelines for daily operations of drone UTM and countermeasures systems.


2.      Directs and monitors work results of systems’ operations to meet stakeholders’ requirements and standards.


3.      Develop test procedures, and instrumentation to collect required data within test plan constraints, and ensure the control and maintenance of test logs, and reports.


4.      Create and update algorithms and engineering tools for data processing and modeling and simulation


5.      Develop and manage preventive & corrective maintenance tasks and calibration for infrastructure systems and equipment and ensure supplier maintenance & support commitments are efficiently performed.


6.      Analyze, recommend & report on system activities, outputs and activities including monitoring surveys, interference cases, inspection, technical study and coordination with other entities.


7.      Supports multiple systems or applications integration of multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.


8.      Provide an effective and efficient technical consultation related to drone UTM and countermeasures system, including the diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software and connectivity problems, and conducting market analysis systems development and innovations.


9.     Participate in developing the operational plan related to the aviation safety, security, and environment for UAV related activities.


10.   Analyze, recommend and report on UAV system activities, outputs and result including monitoring services, performance measures, inspection, technical study and coordination with other entities involve in UAV and UTM operations.


11.   Define, Develop, implement and maintain documentation for standards, policies, procedures and processes.


12.    Set, communicate and oversee UTM/ UAV Electronic Countermeasure system performance measures and ensure their linkage with DCAA'sPerformance Management System.


13.    Set, consolidate, review, monitor, and allocate the annual operational budget for UTM/UAV Electronic Countermeasure systems, and forward to the line manager for further approval.


14.Ensure compliance with non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, as well as DCAA security policies, to safeguard both government and DCAA confidential information. Address and rectify any ISR audit findings, promptly report security incidents, and engage in ongoing security awareness training to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.


15.Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the line manager.


Academic Qualifications:


·Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering. 


Certifications:


  • Relevant certification is preferred 

Professional Experience:


·7 or more years of relevant experience in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering sector at various levels


·At least five (3) years in managerial/supervisory position


·Knowledge of enforcement methodology & policies


·Experience with radar architectures and overseeing the design of radar systems and components


·RF Communication, Technical, communications and software skills.


·Knowledge and experience in development of Technical Manuals


·Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing)
