Unit Manager - Emergency

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute
Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
UAE license or eligibility
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: At least 3 years' experience in a Senior/ Management role in ER/ Emergency unit a hospital setting
Experience managing a team
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation) Presentation Skills UAE Labour Law Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications Cost management principles Demonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice) Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectively Quality management and governance standards and best practice Risk management principles, systems and best practice Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures Stock control principles and management UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements Workforce planning and scheduling
