Energy & Resources (Upstream, Low Carbon Solutions, and or Alternative Energies)

Sia Partners Middle East is seeking a motivated and passionate Senior Consultant with a background in the Energy sector, particularly in upstream and low carbon solutions or alternative energies. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience with passion to help clients through business transformation, innovation and strategy.

Candidate must be a genuine team player with intellectual curiosity, learning and sharing spirit with commercial drive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strategic transformation initiatives for clients in the energy and resources sector, particularly in upstream and low carbon or alternative energy solutions.
• Provide advisory services on business transformation projects, focusing on improving operational efficiency, digitalization, innovation, and sustainability.
• Assist in developing strategies that drive cost optimization, process improvement, and enhanced business performance for clients.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support clients in making informed investment and operational decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized and innovative solutions for energy companies across the GCC.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders in the Middle East.
• Actively contribute to Sia Partners' Energy and Resource Knowledge Library by writing and curating articles, market research, and whitepapers focused on innovation and industry advancements.
• Show an interest in contributing to research initiatives and insights on market trends, best practices, innovation, and industry breakthroughs.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in energy, including renewable energy, low carbon solutions, and sustainability initiatives.
• Help ensure compliance with regional regulations and alignment with global best practices.
• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.

Successful candidates must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy, Business Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree highly desirable. 
• Approximately 5 years of experience in consulting within the energy and resources sector, with a focus on upstream and an interest in low carbon solutions, alternative energies, and innovation.
• Experience in business transformation, ideally within the Middle East, is a plus.
• Good understanding of the energy market in the GCC, including key players, regulations, and innovation drivers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interest in market research, writing whitepapers, and publishing industry articles on innovation.
• Willingness and availability to travel across the GCC as required.
• Business level proficiency in Arabic.

Preferred Skills:

• Interest in digital transformation, innovative technologies, and technology-driven solutions in the energy industry.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, renewable energy strategies, and innovative approaches to low carbon and alternative energy solutions.
