Treasury Manager (Crypto Industry experience required)

Hiring for a large crypto-currency company in Abu Dhabi.

• Oversee and manage the company's crypto and fiat treasury functions including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessment.
  
• Develop and implement strategies for the management of cryptocurrency assets, including the allocation, investment, and conversion of these assets.
  
• Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed decisions regarding the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency assets.
  
• Establish and maintain banking relationships and negotiate terms with financial service providers including exchanges, custodians, and OTC desks.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in managing treasury activities and mitigate risk through various hedge strategies.
  
• Work closely with the accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of transactions involving crypto assets.
  
• Remain updated on blockchain technology and changes in the regulatory landscape affecting cryptocurrencies.
  
• Prepare regular reports on treasury activities, performance metrics, and forecasts for senior management.
  
• Coordinate with legal advisors to ensure adherence to the relevant legal framework and manage any crypto-related claims or disputes.
  
• Execute funds transfer and execute trades to manage the company's crypto portfolio efficiently and in alignment with company policies.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  
• Minimum 8+ years of experience, with atleast 4+ years of experience in the related field.
  
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and related financial instruments.
  
• Experience in treasury management, finance, or a similar role within the crypto industry or financial services with exposure to cryptocurrencies.
  
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency tax implications in various jurisdictions.
  
• Strong risk management skills and familiarity with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to leverage software and technology for efficient treasury management.
