Treasury Administrator



Job Description



Role Overview:
The Treasury Administrator is an entry-level role designed to support the treasury team in managing high-volume transactions, administrative tasks, and system-related processes. This position ensures the efficient execution of daily operational activities and contributes to streamlined workflows within the Group Treasury function. The Treasury Administrator will provide centralized support, enabling core team members to focus on strategic and value-added initiatives.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of treasury operations, with clear progression opportunities into advanced roles such as Treasury Analyst.

Responsibilities:



1. Transaction Processing :
a) Handle daily high-volume payment processing across Group entities, acting as a backup for the payment factory and ensuring operational continuity during peak periods.
b) Serve as the primary contact for vendor bank account verification, ensuring accurate and compliant setup and maintenance of details.
c) Oversee post-payment administration, including resolving bank queries and addressing any follow-up issues.
d) Ensure transaction accuracy and timeliness, adhering to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
e) Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.

2. Banking Administration:



a) Support bank account management, including account opening, maintenance, and closure activities with banking partners.
b) Maintain and update banking documentation and vendor-related records, including drafting bank letters and verifying accuracy for compliance.
c) Liaise with banks to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless day-to-day banking activities.

3. Reporting and Record-Keeping:



a) Generate daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports for internal stakeholders.
b)Support the preparation of audit-related documentation and compliance reporting.

4. System and Process Support:



a) Assist in resolving admin system-related issues, including ERP and TMS troubleshooting.
b) Ensure smooth operation of treasury systems by supporting routine updates and enhancements.

5. Workflow Continuity:



a) Serve as a central coordinator for administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operational workflows and uninterrupted treasury processes.
b) Collaborate with internal departments to identify and address bottlenecks, streamlining procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

6. Ad Hoc Support:



a) Assist with treasury projects and initiatives as needed.

Skills



Skills and Competencies:
a) Educational Background: A university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential; equivalent experience will be considered.
b) Attention to Detail: Demonstrates excellent organizational abilities and a meticulous approach to managing tasks.
c) Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
d) Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
e) Proactive Mindset: Exhibits a proactive attitude and takes initiative in addressing challenges.
