• Oversee daily operations of transfusion services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct blood donor recruitment and perform eligibility assessments
• Facilitate accurate blood typing and cross-matching procedures
• Consult with medical staff on appropriate blood product utilization and transfusion therapy
• Develop and implement training programs for healthcare providers on transfusion medicine
• Review and update transfusion guidelines and policies in accordance with best practices
• Monitor transfusion-related incidents and implement corrective actions as required
