JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.

Our people at JLL and JLL Technologies are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people  and empowering them to  thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.  Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

About JLL: JLL is a leading global professional services and investment management firm specializing in real estate. With operations in over 80 countries and a workforce of over 92,000 individuals, we help real estate owners, occupiers, and investors achieve their business goals. As a global Fortune 500 company, we are committed to shaping the future of real estate for a better world, using advanced technology to create rewarding opportunities, amazing spaces, and sustainable solutions for our clients, people, and communities. We are driven by core values of teamwork, ethics, and excellence and have been recognized with awards for our success worldwide. We prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages innovation and collaboration.

Our Transformation Directors work as strategic consultants with multinational clients to build and deliver transformation programmes that leverage Real Estate change as an enabler for business strategy and ambition. This client-facing role requires a blend of consulting expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to deliver high-value solutions to clients.

The transformation director role involves working collaboratively with multiple global stakeholders such as Regional Business and Functional leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Programme Sponsors, to design, execute, and lead highly complex business transformation programmes in the Real Estate domain. The role demands strong client relationship management skills, the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities, and a talent for delivering impactful solutions that drive client success.

The position leverages consulting skills, tools, and processes from change management, programme management, benefits realization, and client relationship management to drive financial and operational results for the client. A key aspect of the role is upskilling client teams and recruiting experienced transformation professionals to build high-performing teams. The director will be responsible for driving behavioral changes, designing change strategies, assessing stakeholder impacts and organizational readiness, and implementing appropriate communications to deliver positive programme outcomes and a transformed Real Estate landscape.

A strong management consulting background is more important than Real Estate expertise, as the wider JLL business is available to provide industry-specific support. However, we welcome applications from professionals with traditional Real Estate backgrounds who have experience in consulting or advisory roles. Essential qualities include a bias for action, the ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes while balancing multiple priorities, and demonstrated competence in communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-Suite level audiences.

The role is typically dedicated to a single client for the duration of a project, but we work with our consultants to achieve their long-term career ambitions. Follow-on roles could include engagements with clients in other sectors or working across multiple clients with our wider team, providing opportunities to broaden industry knowledge and expand consulting skill sets.

Personal Qualities and Skills

  • Act as the face of transformation initiatives, setting the tone, spurring enthusiasm, and challenging where required to achieve project goals

  • Strong leadership qualities and inclusive behaviors
  • Advanced degree (MBA preferred) with a focus on strategy, finance, business, or management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to delve into details
  • Independent, flexible, and resourceful, with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Experience in managing client expectations and delivering high-quality consulting services
