Job Description
Services provided by the Employee shall be those typically expected for someone in the Position and include, but not be limited to the provision of operations support to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of all country RMT’s. Services the Employee can expect to carry out, would include:
Scope of responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to Senior Manager Training, Operations with compliance and operational support for training to Iraq, Libya & Ukraine, reporting to the Senior Manager Training Operations (SMTO)
- Planning, Design of training courses and associated training materials with SMTO
- Ensure that training and assessments are conducted to ensure that regional projects and regional management team`s remain compliant
- Conduct courses and deliver training for Expatriates, Local Nationals and Client`s as required throughout
- Support the various regions and projects in all aspects of induction & core training
- Manage teams of Local National Instructors throughout operational regions
- Quality Assure that all training documentation is compliant and meets the GW business management system. Monitor and manage all training results on a central database
- Advise GW commercial support teams on proposals for future projects
- Advise The Country Manager and Regional Operations Managers on all matters pertaining to training and compliance
- Conduct client interface and meetings and business development
- Produce written reports and training statistics for corporate management quarterly, monthly, and weekly meetings.
- Deliver training in support of GardaWorld training offerings and to maintain personal competencies by CPD
- required for instructional, quality assurance and quality control qualifications
Undertaking any other direction or reasonable request given by appropriate GardaWorld Management team in accordance with GW Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
General professional experience required
- Military training experience at JCC / SCC level having served a minimum 9 years, with experience in Train the Trainer. It is essential to have experience in training with foreign firearms and must be familiar with current western firearms including pistol, AR variants and LMG.
Specific Professional Experience Required
- Close Protection Level 3 (Essential)
- Teaching Qualification: Award in Education & Training Level 3 as a minimum (Essential)
- FREC 4 with an up-to-date CPD or higher (Essential)
- IQA medical qualification (Essential)
- RoSPA level 4 Award Advanced Behavioural Driver Training – minimum 18 months remaining (Essential)
- Experience in delivery of HEAT (Essential)
- Conflict Management (Minimum of Level 2)
- Military or NRA range qualification SA (A) (90) or SA (B) (90)
- Skill at Arms / Firearms Instructor qualification or equivalent
- NRA Range Conducting Officer qualified (Desired)
- FREC 3 or equivalent to PHEM D as accepted by GardaWorld
- Civilian Armoured Vehicle certificate (minimum VR7)
- Must hold a UK driving license with a minimum C1 category and an address registered in UK
- Fire Awareness Level 2
- Microsoft Office Suite
