Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Electronic Engineer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will support the development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems. This role requires a basic understanding of electronic components, fault finding, and soldering techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits and systems.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting of electronic hardware.
- Carry out precision soldering and rework of surface-mount (SMT)
- o Work with engineers to assemble, test, and validate prototype boards.
- o Document test results, issues, and findings for further improvements.
- o Assist in component selection, procurement, and inventory management.
- o Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocol
Skills
- Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and PCB layouts.
- Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Proficiency in soldering and desoldering of electronic components.
- Familiarity with basic test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and work in an R&D environment.
