Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for topographical surveys in particular: preparing, planning, installing the survey equipment, calibration, daily reporting, processing data and preparing the final report.
TASKS:
Conducting comprehensive field surveys to gather topographic data using advanced surveying equipment and techniques. Ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements and data collection. Creating detailed topographic maps and drawings based on survey data. Documenting survey results, including elevation, contours, and other relevant information. Analyzing collected data to identify key features and potential challenges for project planning and execution. Collaborating with project teams to provide insights and recommendations based on topographic information. Implementing quality control measures to validate the accuracy of collected data. Troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies or issues identified during the surveying process. Staying posted on advancements in surveying technology and integrate new tools and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Processing collected data and preparing the final report
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or experience in the related field. 5+ years of experience as a Topographer or similar role. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and softwares, GPS, and laser levels. Proven experience with ADNOC standards. Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
OTHER DETAILS:
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (fabrication yard). Contract duration: 5 months; Starting date: October 2024.
