seeking a highly skilled Ticketing & Travel Operations Specialist to join our Abu Dhabi office and
play a pivotal role in driving growth and operational excellence.
Role Summary:
The Ticketing Expert will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire ticketing lifecycle,
from generating corporate leads and creating competitive travel packages to overseeing the
functionality of our website platform and Amadeus backend system. This individual will coordinate
with the digital marketing team to develop and execute seasonal campaigns and promotional offers,
ensuring seamless service delivery, customer satisfaction, and meeting pre-set sales and operational
targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Lead Generation and Travel Packages:
o Develop and promote customized travel packages for corporate and individual clients.
o Identify and target potential corporate leads, leveraging strategic outreach and
relationship-building techniques.
o Analyze market trends to create competitive pricing and value-added services.
2. Operational Oversight:
o Manage and optimize the backend systems, including Amadeus, ensuring accuracy in
fare rules, ticket issuance, and reporting.
o Oversee the website platform's ticketing operations, ensuring smooth functionality
and user experience.
o Set and maintain operational rules, policies, and workflows to maximize efficiency
and compliance.
3. Campaign Management:
o Collaborate with the digital marketing team to design and execute targeted seasonal
campaigns and promotional offers.
o Monitor campaign performance metrics to adjust strategies for optimal ROI.
o Ensure alignment of offers and packages with market demands and company goals.
4. Performance and Target Achievement:
o Achieve and exceed pre-set sales and operational targets, including revenue, lead
conversion, and campaign outcomes.
o Track and report progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
o Use performance insights to recommend and implement actionable strategies for
continuous improvement.
5. Customer Service Excellence:
o Provide training and support to team members on ticketing processes and platforms.
o Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client queries related to ticketing
and travel packages.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
o Generate detailed reports on ticketing operations, sales performance, and campaign
outcomes.
o Use data-driven insights to recommend strategies for growth and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ticketing operations, with expertise in Amadeus or
equivalent GDS platforms.
• Proven track record in creating and managing travel packages and generating corporate leads.
• Strong understanding of website ticketing systems and backend functionalities.
• Experience in coordinating with digital marketing teams for campaigns and offers.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and operational targets.
