Job Overview: As a Test Engineer - Automation at a leading bank in Dubai, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. This role involves developing automated test suites, converting manual tests into automated scripts, and ensuring that the QA infrastructure supports both existing and new products. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Scripting: Design and code automated test suites for web and mobile applications, including APIs. Convert manual test cases into automated UI tests to support regression testing.
• QA Infrastructure: Develop and automate a robust QA infrastructure to support current and future products and features, enhancing testing efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Manual Testers to understand product requirements and refine test cases to meet business needs.
• Regression Testing: Automate and enrich Web/Mobile/API regression test cases to minimize manual testing efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in test automation processes and tools to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of testing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in automation scripting for mobile and web applications.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to design and implement automated test suites for UI and APIs. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Manual Testers, to translate requirements into automated test cases.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing automation processes and reducing manual testing efforts.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
