Job Title: Tendering Officer
Job Description: As a Tendering Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services required by our organization
Requirements
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services required by the organization
- Identify and assess potential suppliers to ensure that they meet the organization's requirements
- Prepare and issue tenders, request for proposals (RFPs), and request for quotations (RFQs)
- Evaluate supplier responses to tenders and negotiate contracts with successful bidders
- Ensure compliance with the organization's procurement policies and procedures
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
- Maintain records of all procurement activities and track budgets
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that all procurement activities are coordinated effectively
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related-field.
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement, tendering, or supply chain management
- Experience working with procurement software and system
- Must know how to Identify, Analyze, and Submit Tenders (Both Technical and Financial
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practice
