Job Title: Tendering Officer


Job Description: As a Tendering Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services required by our organization


Requirements


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services required by the organization
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers to ensure that they meet the organization's requirements
  • Prepare and issue tenders, request for proposals (RFPs), and request for quotations (RFQs)
  • Evaluate supplier responses to tenders and negotiate contracts with successful bidders
  • Ensure compliance with the organization's procurement policies and procedures
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
  • Maintain records of all procurement activities and track budgets
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that all procurement activities are coordinated effectively

Qualification


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related-field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, tendering, or supply chain management
  • Experience working with procurement software and system
  • Must know how to Identify, Analyze, and Submit Tenders (Both Technical and Financial
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practice
