About the job Temporary Receptionist
Our client is a vegetable bulk commodity trader and sea vessel logistics operator and owner. We procure our commodities (corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, etc..) from world-wide origins such as Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.
Job Title: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Binary Tower, Business Bay
Employment Type: Temporary (20 Days)
Job Duration: 11th Dec 2024 to 6 Jan 2025
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
Visa- You should've your own visa that is valid for more than 6 months.
Compensation: AED 4500-5500
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Handle and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Provide basic information to clients and visitors when needed.
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean and presentable.
- Manage general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and scanning.
- Coordinate with other departments for support tasks.
- Follow security procedures when issuing visitor badges or checking access.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a multi-line phone system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Available to start immediately and work for the entire contract period
