· Repair the vehicle in accordance with the instructions on the repair order and within the allotted time frame.
· Ensure to follow the process in the painting.
· Ensure to perform the paint mixing as per the required colour code formula of the respective vehicle.
· Ensure to use all necessary PPE in the painting process.
· Ensure to maintain the paint booth including the filter replacement on time. Perform repairs in accordance with the standards and the manual of work instructions.
· Ensure work in accordance with the Fix it Right the First-Time principle to avoid Shop Come again.
· Team Leader, Foreman, and Controller receive feedback on supplementary repairs.
· Notify the Team Leader/Foreman in advance of any delays in the work.
· As directed by the Team Leader/Foreman/Controller, must work overtime whenever the workshop workload increases.
· Record in the repair order all consumables received from the stores for the respective vehicle.
· Ensure that parts requests are communicated to the parts division via the team leader.
· Notify/obtain approval from the Team Leader/Foreman before performing additional repairs.
· Ensure that customer vehicles are covered with protective covers
· Maintain 5's in the office.
· Ensure W/S safety procedures and requirements are strictly adhered to in accordance with SOP and workplace safety gear (personal safety/equipment safety/vehicle, customer's etc.).
· Keep the dress code neat and tidy.
· Ensure that the materials listed on job cards are utilized on the appropriate vehicle.
· Perform final inspection in accordance with the standard check sheet prior to moving the vehicle to the painting section.
· Ensure to be aware of chassis repair procedure and holding skills to perform jobs in Chassis Alignment Bench.
· University Graduate/Diploma/ITI
· Computer skills
· 3 to 5 years’ experience in multi-brand automotive workshop/automotive dealer.
