Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Technician (Audio Visual & Lighting) at Dubai Parks & Resort (Motiongate). In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repairs of all Audio, Video, and Lighting equipment to ensure safe operations. Focus on troubleshooting and repairs of AVL systems for park rides and attractions, and assist in establishing preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and minimize costs. Perform daily safety checks and attend to AVL system repairs. Communicate with the Rides Maintenance Team, AVL Supervisor, and Operations team to address equipment failures and minimize downtime. Ensure all documentation is completed and report any hazards to ensure safe repairs.

• Maximize THRC for all park equipment and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and park standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on Audio, Video, and Lighting equipment, ensuring full operational readiness.
• Liaise with manufacturers and vendors to maintain equipment functionality.
• Conduct effective servicing, annual testing, and other maintenance programs.
• Proactively address issues by ordering spare parts and identifying faulty equipment.
• Ensure the Operations and Technical teams operate equipment safely and competently.
• Respond promptly to maintenance radio calls and coordinate with the AVL Supervisor and Rides team during downtime or closures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate safety hazards to ensure safe repairs.
• Assist with Technical Services projects and support the team.
• Must be available for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.

About you

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• High School Diploma 
• Certifications for trainings, participations and licenses in engineering 
• Electronics or Electrically incline.
• Worked in a theme-park environment, minimum 2 years
• Worked in a Audio video and Lighting Systems, minimum 2 years 
• Worked in a system integration environment, minimum 2 years
