What you'll be doing
As a Technician, you will conduct general maintenance and repairs for our retail stores, back-office equipment, and external stock rooms in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain region. You will ensure that all shop display fixtures, electrical equipment, Fire life safety systems, HVAC systems and plumbing systems in the store perform at optimum functionality.
You will also be responsible for engaging and communicating effectively with our internal clients, mall management executives, AMC service providers and other 3rd party vendors.
Your responsibilities will include the below:
Conduct daily visits to the stores to ensure all light bulbs, plumbing, HVAC systems, and FLS systems are maintained as per standards and performing optimally. Conduct inspections and resolve general electrical/plumbing issues with the highest service level and in a timely manner. Attend and resolve general joinery and works. Prepare the monthly preventive planned maintenance checklist and submit the same to the Technical Supervisor for review. Ensure regular updates are provided for maintenance incidents raised via our group-developed software. Ensure all periodic maintenance carried out by external service providers, is carried out as per schedule.
Request electrical/plumbing or hardware supplies as per store requirements to our approved local vendors.
Coordinate with the Retail store/Vendors team to acquire mall permits in a timely manner.
Inspect and share accurate scope of works based on site situation and share with Technical Supervisor for Tendering purposes.
Ensure availability 24/7, in case of emergency assistance. Follow up and coordinate via emails with local approved vendors for site inspections and job execution. Escalate issues related to the mall service lines to the concerned mall operations.
What you’ll need to succeed
You are a general Technician. You are able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. You possess a flexible personality with good stakeholder management skills.
