About the job Technical Product Manager/Project Manager

Our client is a growing tech startup based in Dubai, focused on building an innovative social media network. Were passionate about delivering impactful, user-friendly experiences and need a skilled Technical Product Manager or Project Manager to help lead our team to an initial product release.


Were looking for a Technical Product Manager with strong project management skills and a technical background to oversee our development team. This person will ensure efficient progress, streamline communication, and be accountable for moving our product from development to initial release.


Key Responsibilities:
-Project Management: Establish and manage realistic timelines, prioritize tasks,
and oversee the teams progress using Agile/Scrum methodologies.


-Technical Oversight: Understand the technical complexity of tasks, evaluate
progress, and identify any bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the team.


-Product and Release Management: Define and track the scope of a Minimum
Viable Product (MVP), focusing on essential features for the initial release.


-Team Communication & Accountability: Foster transparent communication,
lead regular check-ins, and ensure the team adheres to timelines and deliverables.


-Stakeholder Reporting: Provide clear, regular updates to non-technical
stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project progress and timelines.


Qualifications:
-Technical Background: Proven experience in software development or
engineering; familiar with backend, frontend, and DevOps best practices.


-Project Management Skills: Strong background in Agile or Scrum
methodologies, with at least 3+ years in a project or product management role.


-Product Development: Experience managing product releases in startups or
tech-focused environments, ideally with a focus on social media or user-centered platforms.


-Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap
between technical and non-technical team members.


-Proven Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate issues, mitigate risks, and drive
solutions for timely, effective delivery.
