Operating from state-of-the-art facilities in Sharjah, they specialize in structural and architectural metalwork, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and offer custom design solutions. They also provide general contracting services, including equipment rentals and sales.
As a Technical and Materials Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of engineering projects through expert analysis and material management. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating technical specifications, selecting and testing materials, and ensuring that engineering solutions meet both performance and cost requirements. You will collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to address technical challenges, improve material efficiency, and uphold rigorous quality standards. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of projects, contributing to both innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Document
Control, Preparing prequalification Submittals, Material Submittals etc
Tag and organise the project samples.
Follow up with the suppliers for sample and
submittals.
Compliance statement for materials to be prepared.
Collaborate
with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.
Provide
technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
Review
project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and
regulations.
Develop and
review method statements for construction activities.
Analyse
material submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Prepare
compliance statements and documentation for regulatory approvals.
Conduct site
inspections to assess construction progress and quality.
Prepare
detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
Identify and
address any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.
Manage and
respond to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) issued from project sites.
Investigate
root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and
track NCR resolutions to ensure timely closure.
Maintain
accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and
correspondence.
Communicate
effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and
subcontractors.
Manages and
prepares the required submittals for client's approval.
Ensure all
departments are aware of the approved materials and have the track of the same.
Hand over
approved materials to the project teams.
Coordination
with client, consultant and contractors will be managed.
Development
of technical submittals, commercial submittals, tender documents, etc.
Conduct the
preparation of proposals & Registration for Public/private sector clients.
Preparation
of technical standards and specifications for Steel Fabrication projects with
respect to the local and international standards and requirements.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years in
preparing pre-qualification & Material Submittals.
Working knowledge of
English to read, write & understand the MS,SS Material.
