Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our technical team and oversee all technical operations related to our marine fleet. The Technical Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our marine services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical department, providing guidance and support to engineers and technical staff.
- Develop, implement, and maintain technical policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee maintenance and repair programs for all vessels to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits of technical operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage technical projects from conception to completion, including PMS (Preventive maintenance), drydocks, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage audits, reports, and keep higher management updated about progress about ongoing projects in all aspects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance operational capabilities.
- Provide training and mentorship to technical staff to promote a culture of safety and professional development.
