Brighton College Al Ain seeks to appoint an outstanding applicant as Teacher of English who will report to the Head of Senior School. S/he should be an adaptable and innovative teacher; a good motivator, communicator and administrator, and capable of thriving in an expanding and high-profile British-International school.
Brighton College Al Ain is a dynamic and exciting school looking for an enthusiastic English specialist. This is a unique opportunity to join an exceptional and hard-working team who strive to offer a diverse range of challenging and inspiring opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
Applications are invited from outstanding English practitioners who hold a relevant degree, at least two years of teaching experience in the UK system (either in the UK or at a British International school) and a clear understanding of teaching at Key Stage 3, (I)GCSE and A Level. Experience of and expertise in teaching English Literature as well as Language is essential.
Leadership opportunities are also available to candidates starting in August 2025, with additional responsibility positions available as Whole College Sustainability and Whole College Digital Strategy leads. If you are interested in either of these positions, please note this on your application.
