About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join tax department at Anghami OSN+. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and supporting tax compliance, advisory and planning functions across the GCC, Lebanon and Egypt. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in direct and indirect taxation and transfer pricing within the GCC region. Experience in the media industry or exposure to digital services and electronically supplied services will be highly preferred.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure timely and accurate of direct and indirect tax returns across the GCC, Lebanon, and Egypt.
- Provide Strategic tax advisory and planning services to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with regional tax regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating tax risk across the group.
- Conduct tax audits and collaborate with external advisors and auditors as necessary.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations, to align tax strategies with business goals.
- Provide guidance on tax implications of cross-border transactions, including permanent establishment, transfer pricing, and VAT/GST implications.
- Liaise with tax authorities and advisors in Lebanon and Egypt, leveraging your knowledge of tax laws in these jurisdictions.
- Collaborate effectively within the tax and finance teams to maintain high standards of tax reporting and compliance.
Qualifications:
- CA, ACCA, CPA or Tax Lawyer qualification is required.
- Advanced Diploma in International Taxation or Chartered Tax Adviser is highly preferred.
- Experience working with a big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the GCC market with a strong focus on direct and indirect tax.
- Experience in the media industry or exposure to digital services and electronically supplied services will be a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of GCC tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax and transfer Pricing.
- Familiarity with tax regulations in Lebanon and Egypt is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex tax matters clearly.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
