Our partners, a leading holding company in the steel industry, it manages multiple subsidiaries across Africa specializing in manufacturing, processing, and distribution. They are currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist for their offices in Dubai, UAE. Committed to sustainability, the company transforms scrap metal into high-quality construction materials, supporting infrastructure growth.
Lead and oversee all talent acquisition strategies and operations across the organization, ensuring the alignment of recruitment practices with the company’s goals. This role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent across the group, while maintaining consistency and excellence across all regions. The position will report directly to the CPCO and work closely with P&C teams & Country Manager.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute the group-wide talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and workforce planning needs.
- Design innovative sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines to meet the current and future hiring needs of the organization.
- Stay updated on market trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Employer Branding:
- Strengthen the company’s employer brand to position it as an employer of choice globally.
- Oversee employer branding campaigns, including social media, career events, and partnerships with universities or other talent sources.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content that promotes the company culture and values.
- Data-Driven Recruitment:
- Implement and manage recruitment metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
- Leverage data analytics to forecast hiring needs, analyze talent gaps, and optimize recruitment processes.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership on recruitment progress, trends, and challenges.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Build relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide consultation on recruitment strategies.
- Partner with leadership to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the hiring process.
- Vendor and Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent acquisition vendors.
- Monitor and optimize the talent acquisition budget to maximize ROI
Qualification
- Bachelors in HR or any other relevant degree
- Overall experience of 5 to 7 years in talent acquisition
- Strong Experience in Indian market in the engineering & Steel Industry is a must
