Work Arrangement


This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office at minimum three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business and two times per week remote.


The Role


As a member of GM's Human Resources Group, you are a brand ambassador who supports the Global Talent Acquisition's vision and leads the recruiting process using technology, analytics, collaboration, white-gloved customer service skills.


What You'll Do


  • Develop and implement the Talent Acquisition Strategies to attract and hire the best talent
  • Serve as the recruiting subject matter expert and advisor to the organization for all staffing needs
  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, screenings, interviews, providing recommendations and offers
  • Ensure that there is effective assessment of candidates based on their skills, experiences and advise the appropriate interview / hiring recommendations
  • Partner with the Human Resource Business Partners to identify the current and future talent needs of departments – Core and Support departments
  • Identify the bottlenecks in recruitment and selection process; advise on best practices and how the level of Talent Acquisition can be elevated
  • Conduct the hiring manager and new hire satisfaction survey in order to help in solidifying the process and provide enhancements to the existing processes
  • Through metrics create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Assure new employee orientation/on-boarding programs are kept up-to-date and accurate information is provided to the new joinees
  • Develop an Emiratization Program for recruiting Emiratis in GM workforce
  • Maintain strong relationship with UAE colleges and universities, in order to source needed talents
  • Organizing and representing GM in all career attraction events
  • Support and collaborate with respective internal groups and employees focusing on new ideas, solutions, team calls, mentoring, partnerships with colleagues, hiring managers and HR.
  • Successfully meet and exceed functional objectives around leads, contacts, interview rates, diversity metrics, offers, quality of hires, improvement tools and processes.
  • Develop knowledge through understanding the business needs, market trends and analytics.
  • Provide excellent customer care and relationship building.
  • Use process & project management skills to deliver accurate, data-based and timely recruitment strategies.
  • Research the external factors that impact the supply of top talent, our competitive position, salary level structure, candidate supply and requirements.
  • Proactively present to functional leadership teams.
  • Translate data into clear and concise communication and reports.

Skills & Abilities


Knowledge and Experience:


  • 2-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar

Skills:


  • Work experience in talent acquisition or similar roles
  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English communication and writing
