What you’ll do


This role is responsible for creating system design for a given application. Responsible for preparing high level schematics and drawings of the proposed solution


  • Analyzes & understands the lighting design to apply the needed system building blocks.
  • Responsible for understanding the customers objectives and map their business requirements to Signify offerings  (products, systems & services)
  • Assists lighting control designs for our own and 3rd party equipment if needed.
  • Prepares documentation of the architecture: data sheets, drawings etc. within planned / agreed timelines
  • Assists System Engineers to prepare all Signify and 3rd party technical specification of products and service, including Scope of Works for installers.
  • Assists System Engineers during commissioning the system (remotely/ on-site) and as needed, handover during commissioning and start-up the system to Signify Field Service Engineers and/or installers.
  • Support Project Management in managing small, scaled projects by creating plans and schedules: GANTT, PERT, sales curve, cash curve, risk management, claims management, change management plan
  • Participates in formal offer review before proposal submission ensuring that site works cost are properly reflected
  • On risk management, supports to consolidate learnings and drives post-mortem learning loop and ensure capitalization back in the Division

What you’ll need


  • Capable to present technical material and required message to the relevant audience
  • Lighting controls & sub-systems
  • Drawing software: AutoCAD
  • MS Office
  • Team player with good personal organizational skills and a flexible approach to work
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and deliver results
  • Time management and problem solving
  • Engineering Degree (student or graduated) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, and Computer Engineering.
  • Knowledge in lighting applications, and GRMS systems such as DALI, DMX or KNX is desirable.
