As a Surgical Oncologist Specialist/Consultant, you will diagnose and treat various types of cancer using surgical interventions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, utilize the latest surgical techniques and technology, and strive to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, conduct thorough physical examinations, and order relevant diagnostic tests
- Discuss treatment options with patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures to remove cancerous tumors and affected tissues
- Coordinate and work closely with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists and radiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patients' post-operative progress, manage potential complications, and provide follow-up care
- Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions on complex cases
- Stay current with developments and advancements in surgical oncology through continuous education and professional development
