We are seeking a results-driven Supply Lead to oversee and optimize fleet operations, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, cost management, and service quality. This role involves managing relationships with fleet partners, captains, and supervisors, as well as collaborating with internal teams to drive operational excellence.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fleet management and logistics, with a proven track record in a fast-paced industry like food delivery or q-commerce.


Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Management
  • Oversee daily fleet operations, including captain acquisition, uniform distribution, and fleet equipment management (e.g., delivery boxes).
  • Ensure fleet efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Captain & Partner Acquisition
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with fleet captains and supervisors.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily operations.
Performance Monitoring
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure fleet and captain performance.
  • Use data insights to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies for enhanced operational efficiency.
Budget Oversight
  • Manage the fleet budget by monitoring expenses, forecasting future costs, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Ensure all expenditures remain within approved budgetary limits.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure fleet operations comply with all safety, legal, and environmental regulations.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory updates to maintain operational standards.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of fleet coordinators and assistants, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure professional growth and high team performance.
Reporting & Insights
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on fleet performance, operational metrics, and budget status to senior management.
  • Highlight key achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations for improvements.
Problem Resolution
  • Proactively address and resolve operational issues or captain-related concerns.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventative measures to mitigate recurring challenges.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a fleet management or logistics role, with supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of fleet operations, maintenance, and industry regulations.
    • Familiarity with fast-paced sectors such as food delivery or q-commerce is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
