Job Description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


We are looking for a candidate who can lead and manage the Supply Chain operation by enhancing its developments based on Jotun’s values and in accordance with local, regional, segment, and corporate objectives and guidelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers while maximizing supply chain efficiency, whilst managing CSD functional teams to achieve the required objectives of managing and processing orders.
This position is based in Dubai – UAE and reports directly to the General Manager - Jotun MENA in Dubai – UAE.

Responsibilities



  • Lead supply chain operational functions by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure that supply chain activities comply with local laws and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System.



  • Design and continuously review the structure for customer service workload to ensure efficiency, meet changing needs and maintaina high level of performance by training, coaching, and monitoring staff to ensure good customer relations, responsiveness, and high levels of customer satisfaction.



  • Liaise with sales teams, supply chain, and another relevant stakeholders to ensure that customer expectations are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner through effective teamwork and good communication.



  • Initiate, drive, and follow-up continuous improvement activities by implementing the Jotun Operations System and follow up through agreed KPIs.



  • Arrange and participate in management meetings to coordinate and facilitate improvement activities within MENA supply chain.



  • Ensure close and efficient daily cooperation between local and regional supply chain teams.



  • Develop and deliver applicable supply chain investment plans according to business needs in compliance with Jotun HSEQ and technical requirements.



  • Ensure efficient Logistics setup to meet customers current and future needs, ensure stock management is within required levels and balance the approach with sufficient working capital balance.



  • Develop strong understanding of trade agreements within Africa and Middle East and develop trade routes that maximize the efficiency and profitability whilst reducing the lead times to customer markets.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or any relevant field   



  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in the construction industry or paints industry within Supply Chain / Operations



  • English is essential.  



  • Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset
