▪ The Safety Supervisor investigates drivers’ and customers’ behaviour, on the basis of reports received from appropriate party.
▪ Use of Safe Driving management tools to identify potential safety risks and takes actions as per Procedure.
▪ Monitor all sources of safety alerts and organize according to the criticalness of each case for immediate response
▪ Follow-up with drivers and monitor proper closure of event with depots and concerned departments.
▪ Is fully knowledgeable of all OCC Operational Documentation, correct use of Procedures and tools and communication channels.
▪ Contacts drivers operating on those routes in case of reported unsafe driving or any other irregularity, customer behaviours and acts according to Procedures to monitor the case.
▪ Shall record his/her actions in the E-Transport system or any equivalent system in place, to ensure proper reporting of his/her actions and accurate handover of his/her work to the next shift.
▪ Shall access live video support systems to assist him the situation in line with Procedures.
▪ Ensures documentation of the safety alerts received and submits the report and recommendations to the Chief Supervisor
▪ Champion the driving safety and proactive prevention of on road accidents through knowledge transfer workshops
▪ At the start of his/her shift, will ensure all information provided during handover from the former shift and the shift Supervisor is understood and acted upon, in line with Procedures.
▪ Any additional responsibilities as advised by the direct Chief Supervisor or Line Manager.
Education:
Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience in the same filed or High School with 5 years of work experience .
Skills:
▪ Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
▪ Good listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
▪ Basic Computer-literate performer.
▪ Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage.
