Job Description
The Branch Supervisor will be in-charge of the full operational requirements and overall store management.
- Store Opening/closing (as per the schedule) (Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with local laws).
- Periodically conducts store walk and ensure store standards are in place.
- Plan and direct day to day operations of the store.
- Ensure that products and displays are properly merchandized and assist in day to day operations of the store.
- Follow up stock replenishment.
- Adhere to Product Expiry Policy.
- Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures.
- Follow up the Category management.
- Follow up the temperature and the performance of the Cooling system and report to concern department for any kind of maintenance issues.
- Follow up and check the quality of fresh food (Fruit& Vegetable, butchery, Deli& Cheese, Bakery and Roastery).
- Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
- Ensure KVIs are maintained all time.
- Ensure every product in store have clear and visible price.
- Ensure Admin has posted and followed all store related documents/ LPOs, Invoices, GRVs, Transfer in/out without any delay.
- Ensure Admin has followed a proper communication via email with the supplier regarding GRV policy.
- Timely handover of daily sales report to cash collector.
- Safe keeping of the store key
- Follow the “Store Checklist” w/o fail.
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues.
- Organize and distribute staff schedules.
- Coordinate staff related issues and concerns with HR.
- Fair treatment to all staffs regardless of race, gender, nationality, religion.
- Dress according to company policy to include uniform and name badge. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times.
- Take disciplinary actions against staff for violating company policy and procedures by abiding our disciplinary action procedure.
- Assign leaflet distribution.
- Insure daily full check of Daily Till Bulletin.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
Efficient customer service. Providing efficient customer service should be a manager's top priority. To do this, a manager needs to understand customers' needs, behavior, and preferences. They should be able to assist a customer satisfactorily and train their employees to do so as well.
