Program Summary
Rock Petroleum invites ambitious and driven students to join our Summer Internship Program 2025. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various departments, including Finance, HR, IT, Shipping, and Operations. Over the course of 12 weeks, interns will work closely with department heads and team members, contributing to real projects and initiatives that impact our business operations.

Program Structure
The participants will gain expertise in one of the following key areas.
As a Summer Intern at Rock Petroleum, your responsibilities will include:

Finance:

• Performing basic accounting tasks.
• Assisting with basic reporting.
• Supporting the preparation of basic financial documents.

Human Resources (HR):

• Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Assisting in administrative tasks.
• Participating in HR projects.

Information Technology (IT):

• Assisting with IT support and troubleshooting.
• Participating in IT infrastructure and system maintenance.
• Working on IT projects related to network security, software development, or data management.

Shipping:

• Supporting administrative tasks.
• Participating in meetings related to shipping operations.
• Assisting with basic technical coordination in shipping activities.

Operations:

• Assisting in day-to-day operations and process improvements.
• Supporting inventory management and supply chain activities.
• Participating in operational planning and strategy meetings.

Oil Trading

• Assisting with market analysis and tracking oil price trends.
• Supporting the preparation of trading strategies and reports.
• Participating in risk assessment and hedging activities.
  

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this program, you should:

• Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Show eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
