Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Stylist for its fast-paced commercial photo studio. Successful candidates will be self-starters, strong communicators, detail-oriented, and highly creative. The Stylist will assist in styling a range of different categories for e-commerce photography and Videography, contribute to style improvements and styling/prep efficiencies, and be a key stakeholder in environmental photo and video shootings. They will work to enhance the visual customer experience of product lines and identify new opportunities, driving projects independently in collaboration with other teams.
The successful candidate will have a solid visual culture background, understanding of design trends, and a detail-focused approach with good merchandise coordination. The Stylist will be able to manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with creative and sales teams. They will be responsible for overseeing the styling, set design, and wardrobe for all photoshoots and video productions within the photo studio, covering a wide range of product categories such as fashion, beauty, and home goods. The Stylist will work closely with the photography and video teams to bring the creative vision to life.
Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the creative team (photographers, videographers, art directors) to conceptualize styling ideas and develop compelling mood boards for daily video projects
• Ensure all styling elements are properly fitted, presented, and contribute to the desired aesthetic during daily video productions
• Manages the quality audits for external content providers and provide feedback
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other Studios to adapt innovative quality enhancement ideas
• Deliver high-quality results efficiently with minimal supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment
• Source, organize, and maintain a comprehensive inventory of clothing, accessories, props, and other styling elements to support diverse product needs
• Plan, conceptualize, and execute elevated e-commerce, still-life, and video content; provide strategic direction through to post-production
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Mentor and guide freelance stylists within the studio
• Adhere to production timelines and budgets for styling expenses
• Support safety initiatives regarding studio workflow and processes
• Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion, decor, and styling trends to continuously enhance the studio's creative direction

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in fashion styling, or related field required
• 3-5 years of experience as a professional stylist in a photo studio, agency, or retail environment
• Proficient in styling for various product categories (fashion, beauty, home, etc.)
• Specialized styling ability, such as advanced Lifestyle or product styling
• Professional portfolio that demonstrates expertise in applied styling techniques
• Understanding of market trends, visual composition, and the art of aesthetic presentation
• Strong eye for fashion, color, and design trends
• Proficient working knowledge of Mac and PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment
• Comfort with ambiguity; ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them, as required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to push and pull product up to 14kg during shift
• Accustomed to the intensity of the studio environment
• An obsession for delighting customers
• Familiarity with styling and visual presentation techniques
• Knowledge to trends and emerging brands
• Comfortable in a culture of continuous change
• Proficiency using Excel/Outlook/Sharepoint
