Job Description

We are honoured to be a part of this company's journey. We worked with one of the founding Partners years ago, finding her work and they've now hired us to find a Studio Design Manager/ Associate for their growing boutique business, specialising in hospitality and mixed-use projects.


You will be responsible for oversee the day-to-day operations, support the senior leadership team, and ensure that the firm achieves its business goals. The right candidate needs to have strong technical skills, project management skills, effective communication with both clients and other professionals, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. You would be responsible for contributing to the successful execution of projects and ensuring that all work meets quality standards and client expectations. With experience and skill development, you may have the opportunity to take on more senior roles within the firm.


Key Responsibilities:


Create a plan for every project of the studio with deliverables, timeline and resource allocation.


Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, including managing staff schedules, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.


Support the senior leadership team ensuring that work is distributed and completed efficiently.


Ensure that all work meets quality standards and client expectations.


Lead the design team, providing guidance and support as needed and ensuring that all designs meet quality standards.


Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate schedules, budgets, and designs


Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding progress aspects of the project, including providing updates on progress, answering questions, and addressing concerns.



Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or relevant industry.


Minimum 8 years experience with relevant managerial experience, maintaining quality of design


Must be a proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM


Hospitality projects experience is a must
