Job Description

We are looking for a Student Recruitment Manager to join the American University in the Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and co-coordinate all activities related to student recruitment, and to improve the diversity of the intake, increasing the quality of the intake. They will also provide advice, guidance and assistance relating to the application and documentation for the admissions process.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Media and Communication, or related field
  • Must be Bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience working in student recruitment and enrollment in a reputable university

Skills / Training / Knowledge


  • Knowledge of multiple point marketing strategies (P2P, B2B, Online and Traditional Media)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken in both Arabic and English
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Working knowledge of UAE higher education sector

Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a student recruitment strategy aligned with the university's needs.
  • Assist in the development of a recruitment budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of funds.
  • Oversee the execution and delivery of recruitment activities and events.
  • Plan and coordinate the university's calendar of recruitment events.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders (e.g., schools, parents, prospective students, government agencies).
  • Stay updated on local, regional, and international trends in student recruitment services and gather data to support recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with accreditation requirements.
  • Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors.
