Job Description


STS / RTG Operator

Location: UAE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes or Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes to load and unload containers efficiently.
  • Ensure safe and precise movement of containers in compliance with operational procedures.
  • Perform pre-operation checks to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with ground staff, supervisors, and vessel operators for smooth operations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, including container movements and shifts.



Skills

Requirements:

  • Valid STS/RTG operator license or certification.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating STS or RTG cranes.
  • Strong understanding of port terminal operations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
