STRUCTURAL BIM MODELER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize Autodesk software suite including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for structural BIM modeling and coordination.
• Set up linked models and coordinate across disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• Follow established BIM execution plans and project-specific documentation.
• Ensure BIM models align with BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project workflow criteria.
• Work independently or with minimal supervision, taking ownership of BIM models and drawings.
• Develop discipline-specific BIM modeling content for structural elements.
• Generate accurate construction drawings and extract data from discipline BIM platforms.
• Produce detailed reinforcement drawings and structural steel drawings.
• Maintain compliance with company standards for drawing production.
• Responsible for timely delivery of models and drawings as per project schedules and quality standards.
• Perform clash detection, resolution, and reporting to ensure coordinated designs.
  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Structural BIM Technician or similar role.
• Extensive proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP services.
• Ability to create and manage linked and coordinated BIM models.
• Knowledge of industry BIM standards (e.g., LOD, COBie).
• Experience in detailed reinforcement and structural steel drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Capability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
